Daniel Markham, What’s Inside? IG: @whatsinside

When YouTube came along he put up videos of his kids and wife to share with the rest of his family. He monetized his websites with Google AdSense and also to his channel. His son came for a science project of cutting sports balls in half and uploaded it. A year later he earned $4. It was the video and they decided to go all in.

They hid other videos and changed the name to What’s Inside?. Every Saturdays 4-5 hours was spent. Released only 1 video per week. They learned more by attending video conferences and networking with other YouTubers. They learned that sponsorship gave the biggest revenue. Sent emails to advertising agencies for brand opportunities. With big success after posting the rattlesnake rattle video, they started a family channel too. Nike came in and the rest is history. Dan and his family are practitioners. They did their research, they paid attention to little details and they stayed true to their brand. They put in the work – and executed.
